Before You Submit Any Sample
Analysis Africa connects customers with verified testing and analytical service providers. The customer is responsible for submitting the right sample, selecting the correct test, and providing complete information. The laboratory is responsible for processing accepted samples according to its available method, equipment, schedule, and quality procedure.
Sample quality and suitability
Samples must be properly collected, labelled, preserved, packaged, and submitted in a condition suitable for analysis. Contaminated, leaking, insufficient, expired, unstable, or wrongly prepared samples may be rejected or may produce limited results.
Sample labelling is compulsory
Each sample should have a clear label or identification code. The label should match the details provided during checkout, including sample name, quantity, test requested, and any special instruction.
Select the correct analysis or test
Customers should choose the service that matches their sample type and objective. Where unsure, contact the lab or request guidance before payment. Choosing the wrong test may require a new booking or additional payment.
Quantity and volume requirements
Some tests require a minimum sample volume, mass, concentration, or number of units. If the submitted quantity is below the required amount, the laboratory may request an additional sample or process only what is technically possible.
Packaging and transport
Samples should be packaged to prevent breakage, leakage, contamination, evaporation, degradation, or exposure risk. Hazardous, biological, chemical, or fragile samples must be declared before pickup or drop-off.
Pickup and drop-off
Pickup and drop-off availability depends on location, service area, sample type, and laboratory acceptance. Pickup charges are shown during checkout where applicable. Customers must provide an accurate address and contact number.
Express analysis
Express analysis is optional and applies only to the selected test(s). It improves processing priority where available, but it does not override method limitations, equipment downtime, sample preparation requirements, or unavoidable laboratory delays.
Payment confirmation
Bookings are confirmed after successful payment or wallet deduction. If payment verification fails, the booking may remain pending until payment is confirmed. Customers should not submit samples for unconfirmed bookings unless instructed by the support team.
Result turnaround time
Estimated result timelines are provided as a guide. Actual turnaround may vary due to sample condition, queue, repeat analysis, equipment calibration, public holidays, courier delays, or extra confirmation required from the customer.
Repeat testing and inconclusive results
Where results are inconclusive due to sample issues or insufficient material, repeat testing may require a fresh sample and additional charges. If the issue is caused by laboratory processing error, the partner laboratory will advise the appropriate correction.
Reports and interpretation
Reports are issued based on the selected method and available sample information. Unless interpretation is included in the selected service, the report may provide analytical findings only. Professional interpretation may require a separate consultation.
Restricted or sensitive samples
Some samples may require prior approval, special handling, identity confirmation, ethical clearance, safety documentation, or regulatory compliance. Analysis Africa and partner labs may decline samples that are unsafe, illegal, improperly declared, or outside the lab’s capability.
