Description
Whether you're checking the safety of your borehole water, testing drinking water before use, monitoring an industrial water supply, or meeting regulatory requirements, we're here to help.
Our Water Quality Analysis service gives you a clear picture of what's in your water and whether it's safe for its intended purpose. We test for important physical, chemical and microbiological parameters that can affect water quality, safety and usability.
Depending on your needs, we can analyse parameters such as pH, turbidity, colour, odour, conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS), hardness, alkalinity, nitrate, sulphate, chloride and other essential water quality indicators. We also offer heavy metal testing for contaminants like lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium and chromium, as well as microbiological testing to detect harmful organisms such as E. coli, total coliforms and other bacteria.
We analyse a wide range of water samples, including:
- Borehole water
- Well water
- Tap water
- Sachet and bottled water
- Packaged drinking water
- Swimming pool water
- River and stream water
- Industrial water
- Wastewater
- Research and environmental samples
After testing, you'll receive a detailed laboratory report showing the results for each parameter, along with easy-to-understand interpretations where applicable. If you're unsure which tests you need, simply let us know what you intend to use the water for, and we'll recommend the most suitable analysis package.

Packaging Instructions
Getting your sample ready is simple.
Collect your water sample in a clean, leak-proof bottle. If you're requesting microbiological testing, please use a sterile bottle.
For routine water analysis, submit about 1 to 2 litres of water.
For microbiological testing, 250–500 mL is usually sufficient.
If you're collecting water from a tap or borehole, allow the water to run for about 2–3 minutes before filling the bottle.
Avoid touching the inside of the bottle or cap while collecting the sample.
Close the bottle tightly to prevent leakage.
Label your sample with:
Your name or organisation
Sample location
Type of water (borehole, tap, river, etc.)
Date and time of collection
If microbiological testing is required, keep the sample cool (2–8°C) during transportation and deliver it to us as soon as possible.
Other Instructions
To ensure accurate results, we recommend submitting your sample on the same day it is collected. For microbiological analysis, samples should ideally reach our laboratory within 6 hours of collection.
Please don't add any chemicals or preservatives to the water unless we've specifically instructed you to do so.
If your water has been chlorinated or treated in any way, kindly let us know before submitting the sample, as this may affect the tests required.
If you're testing water for regulatory approval, packaged water production, environmental monitoring, construction, industrial use or research, please mention this when placing your order. We'll ensure the appropriate methods and standards are used.
If you're collecting samples from multiple locations, use separate bottles for each sample and label them clearly.
Not sure which water test you need? No problem. Contact our team before placing your order, and we'll gladly help you choose the most appropriate analysis based on your needs and budget.
