For stable or moderately ill patients who need safe ambulance transport, basic monitoring, oxygen and trained medical attendants. This service is best suited to patients who are reasonably stable but should not travel in an ordinary vehicle. Recent deterioration, chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, altered consciousness or active bleeding may require a higher-acuity ambulance.
