Invite AnalysisAfrica to contribute to your programme
Good programmes are strengthened when speakers and facilitators can connect ideas with practical realities. AnalysisAfrica works across scientific services, laboratory access, research support, healthcare-related services, technical marketplaces, education, innovation and digital service delivery. An invitation therefore does not have to be limited to a conventional speech. It can be designed around the actual problem, audience and outcome your organisation wants to address.
A school may want a science, research, innovation or career session that is understandable to students. A university may need a guest lecture, postgraduate research discussion or departmental seminar. A company may need a professional session around laboratory testing, scientific operations, quality, procurement, innovation or workforce development. An NGO may need a facilitator for a health, science, evidence or community programme. A research group may need technical discussion, research ideas, laboratory-service guidance or assistance in moving from a research question to an executable plan.
Who can invite us?
Schools, colleges and universities can invite us for student programmes, academic lectures, career conversations, practical science discussions, research education, laboratory-related sessions and innovation programmes. Academic departments, student associations, postgraduate communities and research groups may also submit invitations where the proposed subject aligns with our experience.
Industries and companies can invite us for professional development, laboratory and analytical-service discussions, research and development programmes, quality-related sessions, scientific procurement conversations, technical capacity building, innovation events and other programmes where science, research, healthcare, education or evidence-based decision-making is relevant.
NGOs, foundations, development organisations, healthcare organisations, professional associations, scientific societies, conference organisers and public institutions are also welcome to submit invitations. Every request is reviewed individually. Submission does not automatically confirm attendance; it gives our team the information needed to assess the subject, audience, date, format, location and practical requirements.
Speaking, lectures and keynote engagements
You may invite AnalysisAfrica for a keynote address, conference presentation, guest lecture, panel discussion, fireside conversation, symposium, professional meeting or special institutional programme. The proposed subject can come from your organisation. Tell us what the audience needs to understand, the level of technical depth required and the outcome you expect from the session.
For education-focused audiences, the content can be adapted to participants. A secondary-school programme should be accessible and engaging, while a postgraduate, laboratory or industry audience may require deeper technical discussion, examples, frameworks and practical applications. Providing accurate information about your audience helps us assess the engagement and prepare appropriately.
Seminars, workshops and facilitation
Some programmes need more interaction than a lecture. AnalysisAfrica can consider invitations to facilitate workshops, seminars, team sessions, idea-development meetings, technical discussions and collaborative problem-solving programmes. A facilitation request should explain the challenge, participants and expected result. This helps determine whether the programme requires a presentation, structured exercises, moderated discussion, technical input or a combination of approaches.
Workshops may be designed for students, researchers, laboratory professionals, healthcare teams, industry staff, entrepreneurs, NGOs or multidisciplinary groups. The duration can range from a focused session to a longer programme depending on the objective, preparation required and availability.
Research and scientific-community engagements
Research communities often require more than general motivational speaking. They may need discussion around research planning, analytical services, laboratory resources, scientific collaboration, research communication, publication-oriented thinking, technical problem solving or the practical path from a research question to usable data. Research groups can invite us to departmental seminars, postgraduate sessions, scientific association meetings, laboratory workshops, innovation events or multidisciplinary programmes.
When inviting us for a research-focused engagement, state the discipline, level of participants, research problem and desired contribution. If the request involves professional assistance rather than a public lecture, describe the expected deliverable clearly so that we can distinguish an educational engagement from consulting or project work.
Professional advice and institutional assistance
Organisations sometimes need an external perspective on a practical scientific or technical challenge. The request may involve laboratory service access, testing workflows, equipment and scientific procurement, research support, digital service delivery, programme design, capacity building or organisation of technical resources. You can use the invitation form to introduce that need and request an initial engagement.
Professional advisory work can require preparation, document review, stakeholder meetings, technical assessment, travel or follow-up. Where this applies, explain the challenge and expected output. Our response can then clarify scope, availability, professional fees, deliverables and next steps where appropriate.
Conferences and professional events
Conference organisers may invite AnalysisAfrica as a speaker, facilitator, panellist, moderator or contributor to a specialised session. Include the conference theme, proposed topic, date, location, audience, estimated attendance and the role you would like us to play. If a programme website, brochure or draft agenda already exists, mention it in your invitation.
It is also useful to state whether the session will be recorded, livestreamed or redistributed. Speaker identity, presentation materials, recording rights and other event arrangements should be agreed before the programme. For physical events, include information about travel and accommodation where applicable.
Virtual and hybrid engagements
Virtual invitations are welcome. Webinars and online sessions make it possible to engage audiences across countries without travel. Tell us the platform you intend to use, expected audience size, time zone, proposed duration and whether the programme will be recorded. Hybrid events should also explain how remote and physical participants will interact.
For international programmes, providing the local time zone is especially important. If your date is flexible, include an alternative date in the form. This gives the team more room to assess availability without unnecessary back-and-forth communication.
Topics and areas of contribution
Depending on the programme and available expertise, possible areas include laboratory testing and diagnostics, research planning, scientific services, laboratory operations, analytical workflows, scientific entrepreneurship, research commercialisation, digital platforms for science and healthcare, access to scientific resources, laboratory equipment, professional development, scientific communication, education technology, innovation and technology-enabled service delivery.
We can also consider discussions around how institutions discover and access laboratory tests, how researchers structure requests for scientific services, how digital marketplaces can improve access to specialised services, and how researchers, laboratories, suppliers, service providers and end users can be connected more effectively. These are examples rather than a closed list. Your organisation can propose a different subject that is relevant to its audience.
How the invitation process works
Complete the form on this page with a genuine contact person and working email address. Describe your organisation, programme, audience, preferred date, proposed topic and the role you want AnalysisAfrica to perform. If the engagement is physical, provide the venue, city and country. If it is virtual or hybrid, indicate the intended format.
After submission, the sender and AnalysisAfrica administration receive email notifications. Your acknowledgement contains an invitation reference that can be quoted in later correspondence. The team reviews relevance, availability, preparation requirements, logistics and the appropriate form of participation. We may contact you for clarification before making a decision.
The automated acknowledgement confirms receipt only; it is not an automatic acceptance. Attendance, fees or honorarium, travel, accommodation, final topic, duration and other terms are confirmed separately where applicable. Organisations planning physical events or programmes requiring substantial preparation should submit invitations as early as possible.
How to prepare a strong invitation
A useful invitation is specific about the desired outcome. Instead of requesting only “a talk on science,” explain what participants should understand or be able to do after the engagement. Tell us whether the audience consists of secondary-school students, undergraduates, postgraduate researchers, laboratory professionals, healthcare personnel, executives, industry staff, NGO teams, entrepreneurs or a mixed group.
Explain whether the purpose is awareness, education, technical capacity, strategic discussion, inspiration, professional development or problem solving. Where a budget or honorarium exists, you may indicate it in the form. This helps establish expectations early, particularly where travel, specialised preparation or professional advisory work may be involved.
What happens after submission?
Once your invitation has been received, the details are reviewed and the contact person can be approached for clarification. If the engagement is suitable and scheduling permits, the next communication can cover the programme scope, final topic, date, timing, delivery format, logistics and any applicable commercial terms. If changes are needed, we may propose an alternative date, format or scope.
Please do not make travel bookings, publish a confirmed speaker announcement or incur costs on our behalf until participation has been formally confirmed. For advisory or project-based requests, a separate scope may be necessary before professional work begins.
