How Daktacort Cream Works This cream contains two active ingredients:

Miconazole nitrate (2%): An antifungal that kills various fungi and bacteria that cause skin infections. Hydrocortisone (1%): A mild corticosteroid that reduces skin inflammation, swelling, and itching.

Indications: What is it used for? Daktacort is commonly used in Nigeria to treat:

Infected Eczema: Red, itchy, and inflamed skin patches that have become infected. Sweat Rash (Intertrigo): Irritation occurring in skin folds (like the groin or under breasts) often caused by yeast.
