Product Description

Fast Relief for Bacterial Conjunctivitis Optrex Infected Eye Drops 10ml is a medicated solution designed to treat acute bacterial conjunctivitis, commonly known as pink eye. If you are experiencing red eyes with a sticky discharge, this antibiotic treatment can help clear the infection effectively. How It Works The active ingredient, Chloramphenicol (0.5%), is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria causing the infection. It is specifically formulated to provide targeted relief for the symptoms of bacterial eye infections in adults and children aged 2 years and older. Important Storage Instructions To maintain the efficacy of the antibiotic, Optrex Infected Eye Drops must be kept refrigerated at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Ensure the bottle is protected from light and discarded 5 days after opening, even if the infection appears to have cleared. How to Use

Days 1 & 2: Use 1 drop in the affected eye(s) every 2 hours during waking hours. Days 3 to 5: Reduce the dosage to 1 drop every 4 hours. Complete the full 5-day course to prevent the infection from returning.

If you have questions about using this medication or need advice on eye care, you can contact a Meddylab pharmacist for professional guidance.
