Self-Collection Instructions
Where self-collection is permitted:
Do not eat, drink, smoke, chew gum, or brush your teeth for at least 30 minutes before collection.
Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the swab.
Rub the sterile swab firmly against the inside of one cheek for 30–60 seconds.
Repeat using the second swab on the opposite cheek if instructed.
Allow the swabs to air-dry completely before packaging.
Avoid touching the cotton tip with your fingers.
Packaging Instructions
Place each dried swab into the labelled paper envelope provided.
Clearly write the participant's name or unique identification number on the envelope.
Do not package wet swabs.
Do not use plastic bags for fresh swabs.
Seal the envelope securely before returning it.
Samples may be delivered directly to an AllAnalysis collection centre, collected by our authorised courier, or picked up by our trained mobile sample collection team.
