About DNA Maternity Testing

DNA Maternity Testing at Allanalysis is a highly accurate genetic test used to confirm whether a woman is the biological mother of a child. Using advanced DNA profiling technology, the laboratory compares specific genetic markers inherited by the child with those of the alleged mother to establish biological maternity with exceptional accuracy.

Every child inherits approximately 50% of their DNA from their biological mother and 50% from their biological father. By analysing multiple DNA markers, our accredited laboratory can determine biological maternity with a probability of greater than 99.99% when maternity is confirmed, or conclusively exclude maternity when there is no biological relationship.

DNA maternity testing may be required for personal reassurance, hospital baby mix-up concerns, adoption cases, immigration applications, inheritance matters, child custody issues, birth registration, family reunification, and legal proceedings.

At AllAnalysis, all testing is performed through experienced molecular genetics laboratories using internationally accepted DNA analysis methods. Both Private (Peace of Mind) and Legal DNA Maternity Testing options are available depending on your requirements.
